Focus and Scope

Journal of Research and Medicine (JORAM) aims to bring important work using any medical research to a wide international audience and therefore only publish papers with strong and valuable messages that advance our understanding of medicine. The research presented includes case studies. Both experimental and clinical studies are accepted, as are descriptive accounts, although these must offer insights into issues of general interest to medical doctors. The journal publishes in the field of original research, case report, reviews, and letters to the editor are published only in English.

Editorial Board and JORAM comply with the criteria of the International Council of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Journal of Research and Medicine (JORAM) is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes manuscripts describing both clinical, experimental, and basic science research. JORAM publishes original articles on all aspects of health science (including all branches of medicine). Manuscripts must describe original data that has not been published previously nor submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts that adhere to the submission guidelines and are deemed appropriate for the scope of the journal are sent to two reviewers who are specialists in the field. The reviewers’ comments are then considered by the members of the JORAM Editors and Editorial Board members who discuss the suitability of each submission. The final decision for all submitted manuscripts concluded with the Editors.
